The pressure controller uses two Force Sensitive Resistors (FSR) to measure the amount of force or pressure being applied. This is then mapped as a game input by the Micro-controller. To make game development easier and the controller more universal, the micro-controller is configured to emulate a standard gamepad. With this the pressure values are mapped to the x and y axes allowing for easy reading from any games development tools.

The short game demonstrator has a simple aim, fly the spacecraft to the landing pad on the right of the level. The ship has two thrusters and the amount of force these thrusters produced is linked to the amount of pressure being applied to the controller. The craft lifts, flies and manoeuvrers depending on the amount of force applied left and right.
